Does it work with X (Twitter) bookmarks?
Yes — X bookmarks first. You capture them in your own browser, from your own account, as you scroll. Browser bookmarks work today too; Reddit and YouTube are next.
Where does my data live?
On your machine. The harvester runs in your browser, the analysis runs locally (your own LLM via LM Studio or Ollama, or your own API key), and the output is one self-contained HTML file. Nothing is uploaded to us — we don't even have accounts.
What arrives each week?
One briefing: every new save decoded into a single takeaway line, grouped by theme, and sorted by why you saved it — learn, build, reference, buy, someday, inspiration. Open it, skim it, act on it.
Can I ask questions about my saves?
Yes. Your saves become a local knowledge base with an MCP server, so you can ask Claude things like "give me an overview of the MCP posts I saved this week and three takeaways" — and it answers from your own pile.
How is this different from Tweetsmash or Dewey?
Those are cloud dashboards: you OAuth your account to their servers and your saves live there. Rebrief is local-first — no account, no cloud copy, and the result is a file you own. And nothing else sorts saves by intent.
How do I get my bookmarks out of X?
